Isela,
The two videos on the heel got interchanged. The one that says video I is really video II

I just did this by the video this evening and it worked perfect. I am no longer afraid of heels:)

Hi Isela,

This is a great site! Thank you so much.

Question for you: I have a knitting board from www.knittingboard.com, which is different than the round ones you use in your videos. Do you think I can adapt your video lessons to my board? I've just been making scarves, so far.

Thanks!
Amanda

Isela, how can I view your tutorial videos? It takes me to that media site but what do I do then?

are you going to put part two on you tube. so i can tell people about it there also?

Thank you so much for putting together the heel videos. I was having so much trouble doing one and I watched yours and played and paused it so I could do it along with you and it worked out perfectly.

I love all your videos. Without them I wouldn't know how to do anything on the loom.

Thanks again for all your help and making my life so much easier in the looming world.

Thank you very much for putting together these informative videos. They have been ever so much more helpful than trying to follow a written pattern. My sister and I hated knitting when we were growing up but with the round looms and the board looms knitting is much more relaxing. again our thanks

Hi Isela,
I have been trying to learn how to do cables on the round knitting looms and I don't think that I am doing it right. I have watched your video tutorial several times, and I keep getting large gaps on both sides of the cable, even when I tighten the strands. I also was wondering if when working back the other way (after you have created the cable) if you repeat the same steps going the other way, or if you just do it one way? And how do I avoid the large gaps?

Thanks for all the great work you do.

Jessica

Hi Isela,

I just finished the cuff for a hat using the e-wrap method and the last two stitches are purled. I am using the 36 peg round loom. Now the instructions ask me to knit 6, increase 2: 8 pegs used. I am not sure how to do the increase. I am working from left to right. PLEASE HELP!!! Your video shows you working from right to left and all your pegs are not full and i am a little confused....I am a beginner...............PLEASE HELP!

Isela-
Thanks for all your videos. You have really helped me get to the next level with my knitting. I was interested in purchasing the pattern for The Inara scarf. I have many a lot of scarves, hats, and I even made a button up sweater for my daughter. I just wanted to know if this is out of my league.I can do most of the stitches but the yarn over and drop yarn over make me a little worried. It looks so amazing and I want to make a shawl for a trip to San Diego in April. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks Vicki

Hi Isela;

I have been trying to get the videos to work for me, however they just keep sending me to the one true media and I can not get to see your videos. Maybe I just don't know what I am doing! can you tell me how to use your videos so I can learn how to do some of the stitches
Dawn

Hi Isela

I am a lefthanded beginner and am doing the Practice Project Simple Hat from you book titled Loom Knitting Primer.I am at the crown now and don't quite understand the the following instructions: "In single stitch knit over 2 over 1 on all pegs". Could you please explain because some of the pegs have no stitches on them as the result of moving every 3rd stitch over to the right...Are there any illustrations? Thank you

Do you have a video on how to do a purl bind off because I can't understand any written version where it states to start at the opposite end of the WY and when I do it all puckers. I need the end of this garter stitch scarf border to be as wide and somewhat stretchy as the CO end. Can you help me please.

Please help. When I tried to look at the basic flat bind off video it did not appear on the screen as the other videos do. I could not get to it. What can I do?

Hi Isela,
Thanks for the great videos. They are very helpful. I was wondering if you would explain the reason for anchor yarns and what to do with them when you finish your item? I don't usually use them and am not sure what the purpose is. Thanks. Jena

Hi Isela!! The videos are great, do you have one explaining the Mariposita stitch? I'm a beginner and I get lost with pattern descriptions...veeery lost. Thanks. Ericka.

Your video for creating a pom pom will not load on One True Media. Please fix!

I will see what I can do.

Hi Isela, I am entirely confused with decreasing the crown on the garter stitch hat pattern on page 46 of your loom knitting book. Any video demonstation of that section would be much appreciated thanks Mirasol

Isela, some of the videos are not linked to the correct page. Wondered if maybe you will check them out and relink them. I'm just learning about loom knitting and am really enjoying it.Thanks

Dottie,
Can you help me out by pointing me to the ones that took you to the wrong link. I tried the first half and they seem to be directed correctly.

Thanks!

can you upload the bobble stitch video? i cant seem to view it or find it. thanks

Hi Isela, I have learned a lot from your videos but now I'm stuck, lol. There's a pattern an aunt wants me to use to make her a scarf and I've never used the pattern before, I need help! I get confused with reading patterns. Anyways, it would be awesome if you could post a video on how to do it. Here's the pattern: K1 (k2tog, yo), repeat to last two stitches, k2.

I'm sure it's easy, I just can't seem to figure it out. Oh and k2tog and yo are both firsts for me.

Thank you so much!

Hi Isela!

Great videos, but I have a problem. I think I'm doing it right, but the scarf is shrinking. I even switched the yarn from medium to bulky and that didn't help. Please! what do you think I am doing wrong?

by shrinking I mean that with the medium yarn the sides were curling to the center, and with the bulky yarn the bottom is curling up into the scarf.

I purchased the round looms and can not get the casting down. Do you have a video showing how I would cast on the first stitches?

Hi, I received one of your books for Christmas. I am trying to make the Cables Beret and I am confused. On row 7 you say to K1, yo rep to the end of the row, doubling the amount of stitches from 12 to 24. There are no directions for the yarn over in the book.

Debbie,
A Yarn Over (YO) simply is done by ewraping an empty peg. I recommend the following for this specific row, it helped me and it has helped other knitters. Take the stitches that are currently on the loom and put them on a piece of scrap yarn, take the first stitch off the scrap yarn and place it on a peg, knit the stitch, then ewrap the following peg (thus creating your YO), then get another stitch from the scrap yarn and place it on the peg, knit it, then ewrap the following peg (again doing a YO), keep repeating the process until you have all the stitches off the scrap yarn. Your loom should have 1 stitch and 1 YO, all around the loom (for a total of 24 pegs).

Hi,

I received a Serenity loom for Christmas and the instructions are horrible. They say in a two page blurb (I won't even call it an instruction page). that you will have a positive looming experience.

I saw the perfectly round infinity loom and drooled!

Actually, just finding an appropriate instruction page has made me want to pull my hair out! After reading, and rereading the two tiny pages, they say when needing further instruction, to seek the many excellent internet websites and groups!

I am used to loom knitting. Can you help me find someone who can tell me how to use it properly? The instructions say to prevent the Afghan from rolling to purl the ends. But they do not show you how to. Plus, with the Serenity loom the stockinette stitch is almost impossible because the pegs do not match to have the stitching consistent. The wrap is an e-wrap throughout.

Thanks!

Jackie

Thank you, thank you, thank you for clearing up the pattern for the cables beret! I was stuck on the exact same part! Thanks again!

Dear Ms. Phelps,

Firstly, I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for making your wonderful videos available to someone like me that enjoys art and crafts. In addition, your simplified explanations and instructions are exceptional. I am so thankful and appreciative that you are sharing your wonderful talent. I did watch you on the "Knitty Gritty" show. You are awesome.

I just recently started to loom. I am new at working with looms. I have the Knifty Kniters series sets of looms (long set, assorted set and the spool). I even got the Pocket knitter. When I saw your Pocket knitter instruction I was thrilled. My children love working with me.

I've noticed that there are more than one of your video pointers on your list above that are not working like the "Working with color" pointer. I would really like to learn how to change yarn colors. Can you help me?
Again Thank you.

Humbly yours,

Found it at http://www.dalooms.com/. Thank you.

hi... this may be a dumb question, but I'm currently making a baby blanket on a loom and I have run out of yarn. To add another spool/ball, do I just tie it to where my other yarn ended? Or is there something else I'm supposed to do?

I would like your new DVD.Put me down for one. I love your books so I know it will be great. Please let me kmow when it is done. Thanks

Hi,

I just bought a Serenity Loom and can't find anything on it. Do you have any suggestions please?

Hi, the serenity loom works just like a round loom or single sided rake. I recommend getting the Basic Instructions and look under flat panel instructions. I also have a video on www.dalooms.com on creating a flat panel.

Hope this helps.

Where is your CREATING BOBBLES video? I followed the link and only found a printed page saying you couldn't resist taking 5 min. to do the video.
Would really love to see it. I need the help~~!!

How to write to Isela to ask a question I need help.

I need help with a drop or slip stitch on green loom large enough for a inch and a half ribbon to fit through. Pattern call for one row of drop stitches to weave ribbon through. I don't know how to make the drop stitch long enough. I have search entire internet and nothing shows this step.
Please help if you can.
Thank you.
